Ramapo Valley Reservation
Hikers enjoy exploring the wooded hillside, with its 15 miles of marked and informal trails. Ramapo Valley Reservation includes part of the Ramapo River, Scarlet Oak Pond, and McMillan Reservoir. With a Camping Permit, tenting is permitted beside the Ramapo River and the lower lake, Scarlett Oak Pond. Catfish, panfish, perch, trout and bass fishing is permitted, a fishing license is required. There is a parking lot at the park entrance and portage access to the Ramapo River is provided.
