This hike offers spectacular views, pleasant walking in the
woods, and the possibility of swimming en route. Partially
on private land and partially in the Norvin Green State
Forest, the hike uses one of the largest concentrations of
trails in New Jersey, including the Mine Trail (yellow) and
the red-marked Wyanokie Circular Trail, although from time
to time the route is marked with additional colors. The
Wyanokie Area borders the reservoir. It is important not to
trespass on the Northern Jersey District Water Supply
Commission property.
